Early John Beard + James Henry Moffet Beard History

Quite a bit of historical data has surfaced with regards to John Beard and his close descendents, including a painting of Josiah Jonas Beard (the first clerk of Pocahontas County) which should currently be displayed in the Pocahontas County Courthouse in Marlington, WV (the newspaper accounts says it was placed there in November of 1962).
