Updates

I have updated a portion of the Beard Family History. The books I have inherited from Paul Franklin Beard (and subsequently through Brian Beard and Linda Beard) has a large encylopedia of the history and government of West Virginia, by Virgil A. Lewis (published in 1974, original copyright in 1896). I have added some history regarding early West Virginia settlement, the hstory of the Beverly Manor, experiences with Native Americans, and other aspects that Thomas Beard came into when he settled in the 1740s.

I have also added a bio for Ethel Beard (sister to Julian Lynn Beard) as my Mom identified one of the "unknown" photographs as Ethel Beard and possibly her sons (this was my Great Aunt Ethel).
